Satu bentuk kesenian wayang kulit yang unik kini hanya terdapat di utara Kedah Darul Aman. Ia mempunyai asal pertalian dengan nang talung orang Thai. Ia tidak mempersembahkan cerita epic Ramayana atau Mahabhrata tetapi sebaliknya mengambil cerita rakyat tempatan dan Thai yang popular. Ciri istimewa dipaparkan oleh watak peran seperti Ai Tong dan Keaw
WAYANG GEDEK
A unique form of traditional shadow play which now can only be found in Northern Kedah. It has its root from Thain nang talung. Instead of performing the Ramayama and Mahabharata epics. It tells popular local and Thai folk stories. Speacial characteristic are represented by the clowns such as Ai Thong and Keaw.
